Job Title: Director of Investor Relations – Real Estate Investments
Compensation: $180k-$280k/year, with bonus potential
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Setting: In-office for the first 6 months, Fridays off; potential for remote thereafter

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Investor Relations with a proven track record in raising capital from passive investors, specifically for real estate investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have an established network of investors and exceptional skills in capital-raising, relationship management, and strategic communication.

Responsibilities:

• Capital Raising: Leverage your existing investor network to raise capital for real estate investments.
• Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
• Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute fundraising strategies tailored to the target audience.
• Presentations and Reporting: Create and deliver presentations and reports to investors, clearly articulating investment opportunities and performance metrics.
• Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends and the competitive landscape to provide strategic advice to the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Demonstrated success in raising capital from passive investors for a debt fund.
• Network: Strong, established relationships with real estate-focused investors.
• Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Proven negotiation and relationship management skills.
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Education: A finance background is preferred but not required.
