We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Investor Relations for our rapidly growing energy company. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing and directing all aspects of investor relations and communication between the company, its shareholders, and the financial community. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the energy industry, financial markets, and SEC filings. This role requires 5+ years of relevant experience.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a robust investor relations strategy and framework.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for the investment community and shareholders.
3. Manage and coordinate all investor relations activities, including earnings releases, investor meetings, and conferences.
4. Prepare and review company materials for the investment community, including press releases, investor presentations, and financial reports.
5. Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business.
6. Work closely with the executive team to ensure alignment between company strategy and investor relations.
7. Maintain a strong financial understanding and communication of all aspects of the company's financial performance.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including SEC filings.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with analysts, investors, and other members of the financial community.
10. Provide feedback to the company's leadership regarding the investment community's perception of how the company is being managed, and their view of its financial results.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations, financial communications, or a related role in the energy industry.
3. Deep understanding and knowledge of SEC regulations and filings.
4. Strong understanding and experience with financial modeling and valuation concepts.
5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex financial information to a diverse audience.
6. Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
7. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with investors and analysts.
9. High level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with investor relations software and platforms is a plus.
