Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate technical staff involved in aircraft upkeep and readiness
  • Maintain internal procedural handbooks within the area of responsibility
  • Allocate daily tasks based on operational needs and available labor
  • Plan for ongoing and future maintenance work, including schedule optimization
  • Assess external service providers and manage maintenance-related expenses
  • Monitor department costs and project future needs
  • Uphold internal standards and ensure compliance with all governing bodies
  • Interface with aircraft owners or designated representatives as needed
  • Support company operations through occasional travel
  • Carry out tasks assigned by the department executive

Preferred Qualifications
  • Holds a valid certification to service airframes and propulsion systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in aircraft oversight
  • 7–10 years working in technical roles supporting aircraft within regulated operations
  • Familiarity with documentation, recordkeeping, and mechanical inventory processes
  • Working knowledge of software tools for task management and scheduling
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a growing fleet of complex equipment
  • Comfortable leading a team through both routine and urgent situations
  • Experience using systems such as fl3xx, CAMP, or TRAXXALL is helpful but not required
