Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans aligned with company objectives to enhance production efficiency and maximize profitability.
2. Supervise and oversee all aspects of daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, and procurement to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
4. Evaluate and enhance existing manufacturing processes and workflows for continuous improvement.
5. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
6. Monitor production metrics, prepare regular performance reports, and present to senior management.
7. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure for the manufacturing department.
8. Implement and oversee quality control programs to maintain high standards of production and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
9. Conduct regular performance evaluations, manage employee relations, and handle terminations when necessary.
10. Stay updated with the latest manufacturing best practices, technologies, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. An advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior manufacturing management role in the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in performance evaluation and managing terminations.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control standards.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
6. Strong strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and precision.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Proficient in using manufacturing management software and tools.
10. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
