Job Details

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations for our Food Manufacturing division. This role is instrumental in driving our company's success and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing operations, with a specific focus on sauce manufacturing. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, who can effectively manage P&L, plant operations, and plant production management. The candidate should have a firm understanding of FDA regulations and be a champion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations and production management, ensuring efficiency and quality in all processes.
  • Manage P&L for the entire division, developing and implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and boost productivity.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align operational activities with business goals.
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing processes, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance production.
  • Directly manage a team of operations managers, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional development.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure operational objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of manufacturing operational leadership experience along with 4 years of experience in a Food manufacturing environment
  • Experience in sauce manufacturing is a must
  • Proven experience in managing P&L, plant operations, and plant production management.
  • Demonstrable track record of driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and food safety standards is a plus
