Our Hospice organization is searching for a dynamic and experienced Director of Patient Care Services to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care services, ensuring that our healthcare delivery meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compassion. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in nursing management, who can effectively lead our diverse team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic plans for patient care services, aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
2. Oversee the daily operations of patient care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.
3. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and teamwork among staff.
4. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of healthcare standards and best practices.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
6. Develop and manage the budget for patient care services, optimizing resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care and operational efficiency.
8. Serve as a role model and mentor, promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and compassion in patient care.
9. Address patient complaints and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner, taking corrective action as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
2. Current and valid nursing license.
3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing management experience, preferably in a healthcare leadership role.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
5. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire others.
6. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.
8. Proficiency in healthcare IT systems and software.
9. Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to all patients.
