Our esteemed organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Director of Technology to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological future of our engineering firm, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry. This role requires a deep understanding of JEDEC, PCIe, CXL, SPD, or equivalent technologies and will oversee the design, development, and implementation of innovative technological strategies and systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within the engineering industry.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and direct the design, development, and implementation of technology strategies and systems that align with the organization's strategic goals.
2. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in PCIe, CXL, SPD, and other relevant technologies, and integrate them into our operations as appropriate.
3. Provide technical leadership and direction across the organization, including mentoring and coaching team members.
4. Collaborate with other department heads to identify and leverage technology solutions that support business objectives.
5. Oversee the management of technological infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
6. Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
7. Lead the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree will be an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology leadership role within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with JEDEC, PCIe, CXL, SPD, or equivalent technologies.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to lead teams in a complex, changing environment.
5. Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technology issues.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technology concepts to a non-technical audience.
8. Knowledge of budgeting and financial management practices.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of current regulations and standards in the technology field.
