Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and dedicated Permanent Director of Project Management to join our team in the Construction industry. This individual will play a pivotal role in steering the direction and success of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. A successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a particular focus on plumbing systems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
2. Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and procedures, ensuring all projects align with company objectives and industry standards.
3. Coordinate and collaborate with various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project progression.
4. Manage and supervise project teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
5. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring all resources are available as needed.
6. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
7. Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring projects stay within budget and timeline.
8. Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
9. Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff and stakeholders.
10. Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on plumbing systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
