Job Details
Minimum experience requirements include registration as a Professional Engineer; or Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related field, with three years on-site project administration, or a minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience as an on-site construction inspector.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in context-sensitive design principles; safety and labor laws and requirements, value engineering proposals, quality control/quality assurance principles; traffic control; materials, and construction methods. The ideal candidate will also be Capable of performing material testing for aggregates, asphalt concrete pavement, Portland cement concrete pavement and embankment.
Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates:
Candidates should possess a 4-year technical degree; an Engineering degree is preferred, and an advanced degree is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate is working towards or has completed a Master's degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or related areas of study preferred
Implementation experience of statistical methods such as DOE and SPC.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in structured problem solving
Working knowledge of ISO standards and requirements.
At least ten years of quality experience within the construction industry.
At least 5-years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity. Multisite managerial experience preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills.
Six Sigma, ASQ certification CMQ/OE highly desired.
