Our industry-leading technology company is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Director of SEC Reporting. This role is integral to the financial operations of our company and requires a deep understanding of both the technology industry and financial regulations. As the Director of SEC Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and managing all external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations, and overseeing the company's financial systems and processes. This is a critical role that will have a significant impact on our company's financial transparency and accountability.

As the Director of SEC Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and managing all external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations, and overseeing the company's financial systems and processes. This is a critical role that will have a significant impact on our company's financial transparency and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of SEC filings including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with US GAAP, FASB, and SEC requirements.
- Overseeing the company's internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with SOX 404 and PCAOB standards.
- Leading the preparation of technical accounting memos and providing expert guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Using financial systems such as NetSuite and Workiva to streamline reporting processes and improve financial efficiency.
- Managing the company's Equity Edge Online platform, including equity administration and reporting.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Master's degree in Accounting strongly preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC reporting, with a preference for experience in the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, FASB, and SEC regulations.
- Experience with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, Workiva, and Equity Edge Online.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
