We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Director of Surgical Services to join our team in the medical industry. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The candidate must also have experience in working in a stressful environment and taking appropriate action. The candidate must be an RN and have prior OR experience and nursing management experience. The candidate must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
Responsibilities:
The Permanent Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for managing and overseeing the surgical services department. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical procedures are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all surgical equipment is properly maintained and that all surgical staff is properly trained. The candidate will be responsible for managing the surgical services budget and ensuring that all expenses are within budget. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for the surgical services department.
Qualifications:
