We are a growing multi-unit retail company headquartered on the West Coast. We have more than 30 units across our two flagship brands. We are looking to add a Director of Operations reporting directly to our President.

We are heavily driven by the guest experience, so someone with a strong background in hospitality is key. You must be able to visit and work out of our sites in Northern CA, Oregon, and WA. You should be able to work/visit the sites for 2-3 weeks/month. this is a heavy operations position.

We are in search of a dynamic, experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent VP of Operations for our multiunit retail (Car Wash). This position presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a proven track record in operations management and is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the car wash industry and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including the management of multiple car wash locations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving profitability.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations across multiple car wash locations, ensuring efficiency, quality service, and profitability.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and drive operational excellence.
3. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
4. Ensure all locations comply with health and safety regulations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
5. Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost management to maximize profitability.
6. Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Collaborate with the executive team to set performance goals and long-term business strategies.
8. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry professionals.
9. Implement new technologies and operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
10. Handle customer complaints and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the car wash industry, with a proven track record of managing multiple locations.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and business partners.
5. Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and performance metrics.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
7. Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
8. Proficient in the use of technology and software applications relevant to the car wash industry.
9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, and experience in risk management.
10. A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
