Join our team as the Director of Operations/Firm Administrator. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead, shape, and drive the legal operational strategy within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support, guidance, and oversight to all legal operations. This position requires strong liaison skills and the ability to work effectively with various departments within the firm.

Responsibilities:

As the Director of Operations, you will:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the legal operations department, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
2. Provide strategic support and guidance to the legal team, ensuring efficient and effective legal service delivery.
3. Act as a liaison between the legal department and other departments within the firm, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
4. Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity within the legal team.
5. Provide oversight and management of legal budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
6. Lead the implementation and management of legal technology solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal services.
7. Monitor and analyze legal industry trends and advancements to ensure the firm remains competitive and up-to-date.
8. Manage and support the professional development of staff within the legal operations department.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal operations, preferably in a leadership role.
3. Extensive knowledge of the legal industry, including best practices and emerging trends.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to a diverse team.
5. Exceptional liaison skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
6. Excellent strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on improving efficiency and productivity.
7. Strong budget management and financial analysis skills.
8. Proficiency in legal technology solutions and project management software.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
