A bit about us:

Division Controller needed in Roanoke, VA for full time role with large manufacturer!!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage accounting operations, job costing, inventory, general ledger, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely close processes and maintain internal controls.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, analyze financial results, and provide variance analyses and recommendations.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, conduct financial analysis, and partner with regional leadership to drive profitability and growth.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, manage external audits, and maintain relationships with auditors.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting and finance professionals, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Operational Support: Partner with operations to develop financial strategies and provide insights for investment decisions and cost-control initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of finance/accounting experience in a multi-plant manufacturing environment, with 5+ years in leadership.
  • Experience managing multi-location operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations (GAAP, IFRS), and ERP software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
