Our renowned financial institution is on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent EBP Audit Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage audits of Employee Benefit Plans (EBP). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of audit projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing expert advice to our clients. If you are a CPA with a passion for audit management and EBP, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage comprehensive audits of Employee Benefit Plans, ensuring all activities comply with professional standards and regulations.

2. Develop and implement audit strategies, plans, and methodologies that meet client needs and adhere to best practices.

3. Review audit work papers and financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with GAAS and GAAP.

4. Communicate audit findings effectively to clients, providing recommendations for improvement and facilitating necessary changes.

5. Foster strong relationships with clients, offering expert advice and guidance on EBP compliance and management.

6. Coordinate with other members of the audit team to ensure efficient and effective completion of audit projects.

7. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and standards that affect EBP, adapting audit strategies as necessary.

8. Provide coaching and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

1. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in audit management, with a significant focus on Employee Benefit Plans.

3. Demonstrated knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, ERISA, and other relevant laws and regulations.

4. Proven ability to lead and manage comprehensive audit projects, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to clients.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

7. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

8. Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
