We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced EBP Audit Senior to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients across the finance industry. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in managing and executing audit engagements from planning to completion, and in developing audit strategy. This role will require an individual who is capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines. If you're a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and execute audit engagements from planning to completion in accordance with auditing standards.
2. Develop audit strategy and lead audit engagements, ensuring client deadlines are met and work is completed efficiently.
3. Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transactions processes including controls related to federal entities.
4. Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on audit process and assess the performance of the audit team for engagement reviews.
5. Research and analyze financial statements and audit-related issues utilizing electronic databases, and employ audit software to review and compile financial information.
6. Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services.
7. Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent degree.
2. CPA or progress towards obtaining CPA certification.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
4. Proficiency in EBP auditing and a solid understanding of audit and attest services.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
6. Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
7. Familiarity with GAAP and GAAS.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Willingness to travel for client engagements.
