Leading healthcare system seeking a Locums General Pediatrician - to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. As a Locums General Pediatrician , you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care in the emergency department, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

ED shifts are normally 8 hours. Days and nights available

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical

conditions

• Work in a fast-paced environment, providing care in the emergency department
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
• Manage and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections
• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
• Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions and treatment plans
• Document patient care in an accurate and timely manner
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Board certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics
• MD or DO
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed
