Job Details
We are looking for an experienced EDI Consultant to join our team, where you will play a key role in designing and implementing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions that enhance our clients' operational efficiencies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, configure EDI systems, and ensure seamless data exchange between trading partners.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain EDI integrations between internal systems and external trading partners, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Assess client requirements and translate them into EDI specifications and workflows.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of EDI transactions to ensure successful processing and error resolution.
Provide expert guidance on best practices for EDI implementation, including mapping and translation processes.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues efficiently.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for EDI processes and configurations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience in EDI consulting or related roles, with a strong understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
Proven experience with EDI mapping tools and middleware platforms.
Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
