Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Strengthen safety programs through employee training, coaching, and consistent follow-through.
  • Manage hazardous and nonhazardous waste storage, organization, shipping, and documentation.
  • Conduct safety inspections, ergonomic assessments, PPE reviews, and incident investigations.
  • Maintain applicable OSHA and environmental compliance, reporting, records, and routine permit activities.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering to address equipment and process hazards.
  • Track corrective actions and safety performance, prioritizing improvements with plant leadership.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Industrial EHS experience, with five or more years preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of waste management, chemical safety, OSHA requirements, and environmental compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage employees and implement practical safety improvements.
  • Experience with training, risk assessments, ergonomics, PPE, and incident investigations.
  • OSHA 30-Hour training required; CSP, ASP, CHMM, or HAZWOPER credentials preferred.
