Job Details
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager will provide leadership for all environmental, health, and safety programs at the manufacturing facility while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and federal, state, and local regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead all site Environmental, Health & Safety programs and initiatives
Partner with plant leadership to establish EHS goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives
Foster a proactive, zero-incident safety culture across the manufacturing facility
Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to reduce workplace hazards
Manage OSHA, environmental, and regulatory compliance activities
Lead incident investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
Develop and deliver employee safety training programs
Maintain site EHS metrics, reporting, audits, and certifications
Coordinate regulatory inspections and serve as the primary EHS contact for external agencies
Drive employee engagement through safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
5+ years of Environmental Health & Safety leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance
Experience leading risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training
Experience supporting ISO-based management systems preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus
