This role is crucial to our operations in the construction industry, as it involves managing, coordinating, and overseeing various electrical projects from conception to completion. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in motor repair, rotating equipment, generators, and mechanical power transmission. Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Assistant Project Manager, you will be expected to:
1. Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of various electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Perform troubleshooting and repair of motor, rotating equipment, and generators, ensuring they function optimally.
4. Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
5. Assist with the preparation of project budgets and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track.
6. Help develop and implement project strategies to meet organizational objectives.
7. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a focus on electrical projects.
2. Proven experience in motor repair, rotating equipment, generators, and mechanical power transmission.
3. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
8. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
