Job Details
Must Have:
+ BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or 2+ years of electrical design experience in the building industry
+ Understanding of electrical engineering principles and power system design coursework
+ Proficiency in Excel for performing engineering calculations
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
+ Familiarity with NEC, CEC, and Title 24 standards
Preferred:
+ Experience with lighting calculation software (interior/exterior)
+ Internship or hands-on field experience
+ Experience using AutoCAD or Revit
+ Ability to perform fault and voltage drop calculations
+ Knowledge of equipment specifications and design limitations
Responsibilities:
+Work as part of a project team to deliver electrical designs from layout to construction
+ Perform electrical load and lighting calculations
+ Size equipment and develop one-line diagrams
+ Answer field questions and coordinate with trades and contractors
+ Ensure design coordination across all project disciplines
+ Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy
+ Take full ownership of assigned projects with minimal oversight
