Job Details:
You will work in the research, development and design of our flagship products and systems. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a good understanding of component level design of both analog and digital systems with an emphasis on EMI/RFI design. You will utilizes OrCAD PCB Software for PCB design. Provides technical responsibility in the design, development and/or implementation of engineering products, methods and processes. Interacts with client engineers and customers.
*Ability to obtain DOD secret clearance required. Active DoD security clearance preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, development, and testing of RF and microwave circuits, filters and systems.
2. Utilize various tools such as Keysight, PSPICE, and other industry-standard software for circuit design and simulation.
3. Create and optimize antenna designs, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other system components.
4. Develop and implement receiver designs, focusing on performance optimization and reliability.
5. Collaborate with other team members on circuit design projects. OrCAD PCB Software for PCB design.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in RF and microwave engineering.
7. Makes and/or recommends appropriate modifications, (i.e., installs filters, electronic components, shielding, etc.) necessary for the EUT to meet requirements.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Microwave Engineering. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in RF design, with a focus on microwave receivers, RF circuit design, and antenna design.
3. Proficiency in using industry-standard software such as Keysight, HFSS, PSPICE, Microwave Office, etc.
4. Extensive experience in microwave circuit, receiver and filter design.
5. Solid background in digital circuit design and top level system design.
6. Strong Electrical Engineering and Analog / Digital RF Filter Design Background
7. Project leadership experience (Preferred)
8. Active Secret Clearance (Preferred)
