We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on both on-site and remote projects, providing a diverse and challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment, components, or systems. They will be expected to apply their knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, PLC Programming, HMI Programming, and Allen Bradley to deliver high-quality results. This role is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 2+ years of experience looking to further their career in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement electrical systems using AutoCAD Electrical.
2. Program PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor systems.
3. Develop and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
4. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
5. Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
6. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of electrical systems.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
9. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, PLC Programming, HMI Programming, and Allen Bradley.
4. Strong understanding of electrical machines, control systems, and industrial automation.
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
9. Proven track record of managing projects to successful completion.
10. Ability to travel as needed for project work.
