We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer for our Oil & Gas sector in the Energy industry. This is a permanent position that offers a dynamic and challenging work environment where you will be involved in the design, installation, maintenance, and improvement of electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, and systems used in the oil and gas industry.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications.
  • Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  • Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
  • Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
  • Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
  • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Controls Engineer is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical/Controls Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in developing/interfacing with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Modicon PLC's
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Panelviews, Factorytalk View, and Wonderware (Aveva) Intouch.
  • Experience with flow computer-based measurement systems.
  • Proven Project Management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed (25% or less).
