Electrical Engineer

Full time Electrical Engineer needed in our Geismar location! In this position, you will offer Electrical Engineering support to a designated facility, collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, and other technical teams, all while being directly supervised and mentored by an experienced engineer.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting the Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Maintenance team with assessing, implementing, and managing facility I&E needs and projects.
• Collecting event reports from electrical relays, instrument diagnostics, DCS, SIS systems, or other software to identify the root cause of equipment failures.
• Supporting the Engineering team by providing expertise to I&E Maintenance Technicians on specialized electrical, instrumentation, analyzer, and control systems, as needed (e.g., diagnosing variable frequency drive issues).
• Creating I&E Engineering Packages to support Maintenance Projects, address recurring issues, and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for non-capital projects.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Understanding of electrical theory, along with general knowledge of instrumentation and analytical technology, particularly in relation to specifying and applying equipment.
