We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent role in the Construction industry, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in a range of areas including Distribution, Fire alarms, Power, Lighting, Electrical Systems Design, Circuit Analysis, and Power Systems. Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
2. Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
3. Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
4. Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
5. Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
6. Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
7. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
8. Supervising or training project team members as necessary.
9. Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
10. Maintaining electrical equipment.
11. Working with a variety of technicians.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering degree from an accredited school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
3. Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
4. Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
5. Proficient in design and calculation software.
6. Competency in Distribution, Fire alarms, Power, Lighting, Electrical Systems Design, Circuit Analysis, and Power Systems.
7. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills.
9. Good written and verbal communication skills.
10. High attention to detail with a desire for excellence.
