Job Details
- Lead the design and implementation of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency power systems for commercial, municipal, and industrial projects.
- Perform electrical calculations, equipment selection, and specification development while ensuring compliance with national and local building codes.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam to develop detailed electrical drawings.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to deliver cutting-edge, sustainable solutions.
- Mentor and support junior engineers while managing project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical focus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design for office, commercial, educational, aviation, municipal, or industrial buildings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction materials, methods, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
