Job Details

Currently they are looking to add an Industrial Electric Estimator to the preconstruction team in Atlanta, GA area and this person must have experience estimating industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

Lead the estimating process: lead the estimating effort for heavy industrial projects in markets such as power production, manufacturing, petro-chemical, pharmaceutical manufacturing and food processing.
Demonstrate Thorough Understanding of the Contract Documents: Review and understand all contract requirements including specifications, terms and conditions, scope of work and contract schedule. Must be well versed in reading one-line instrumentation and process diagrams.
Coordinate with internal groups: Coordinate with internal groups such as Engineering, Pre-fabrication, Purchasing, Marketing and Accounting to ensure a successful project outcome.
Understand the competitive landscape: Advise management on the expected range of competitive estimates to allow for an informed bid submission.

Requirements:

BS in Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of relevant estimating experience including industrial electrical projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with Bluebeam Revu and CAD/BIM software is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
