Seasoned Electrical Estimator needed to join a growing team!

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be a vital part of our organization, playing a key role in the successful execution of projects by providing accurate cost estimations. This position will involve working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the financial feasibility of complex electrical projects within the construction industry.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects or services.
2. Prepare and present detailed cost estimates including material, labor, equipment, subcontracts, and overhead costs.
3. Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized lists.
4. Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
5. Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
6. Evaluate and manage risk and profitability for each project.
7. Prepare, review and submit electrical bids and tenders within the deadlines.
8. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.
9. Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data for accurate estimation.
10. Maintain a comprehensive and updated database of costs: labor, materials, and equipment.
11. Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and standards.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proficient in project estimating, cost estimating, blueprint reading, and construction management.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, electrical code compliance, and the ability to perform take-offs.
4. Familiarity with industrial and commercial electrical projects.
5. Strong analytical skills with an ability to thoroughly understand project specifications and blueprints.
6. Excellent budgeting skills with a proven track record of delivering projects within budget.
7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
8. Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
