We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in the Engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is at the forefront of innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating the cost of electrical construction by reviewing and evaluating available documents and developing comprehensive cost estimates. This role will play an integral part in the continued success and growth of our company, providing the successful candidate with an opportunity to shape our future direction.

Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and comprehend project blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
2. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
3. Prepare detailed cost budgeting and make cost-effective recommendations.
4. Track and record all project costs and ensure that projects are completed within the cost plan.
5. Prepare and present cost reports, ensuring all data is recorded accurately.
6. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.
7. Review material and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
8. Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
9. Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
10. Confer with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the Engineering industry.
3. Proficient in industry-related software for cost estimating and budgeting.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical construction materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
7. Ability to work well with a team and independently.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make cost-effective decisions.
9. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
