Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, review, and evaluate cost estimates for medium and low voltage electrical systems.
2. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of all project documents to ensure that they are complete and accurate.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to develop project budgets and schedules.
5. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial or operational impacts.
6. Prepare and present reports detailing estimate breakdowns, project progress, and cost tracking to management.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies that may affect costs.
8. Assist in the negotiation and awarding of contracts.
9. Continually enhance estimation procedures and protocols to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
2. Proven experience with medium and low voltage electrical systems.
3. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
4. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
5. Proficiency in estimation software and financial modeling tools.
6. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
10. Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
