Job Details:

You will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical estimates for construction projects, interpreting electrical plans, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code, Green Building Requirements, and Title 24. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare comprehensive electrical estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and services.
2. Review and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate, competitive bids.
3. Ensure all estimates and project designs comply with the National Electrical Code, Green Building Requirements, and Title 24.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and provide cost-effective solutions.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new products, and advancements in green building and sustainable design.
6. Provide technical support to the project team during the construction phase to ensure project objectives are met.
7. Participate in bid review meetings with clients, providing clear and detailed explanations of cost estimates.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating or a similar role particularly with Multi-Family Projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code, Green Building Requirements, and Title 24.
4. Proficiency in electrical estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with an attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and team members.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Commitment to staying abreast of industry advancements and continuous learning.
9. Professional certification in electrical estimating or a related field is a plus.
