We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Electrical Foreman to join our growing team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their expertise in a fast-paced and progressive environment. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of electricians to ensure that work is performed efficiently and in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and a proven track record of successful leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Ensure that all work installed is in compliance with the project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate efforts with all aspects of construction: structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.
  • Lead and participate in meetings to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and manage project progress.
  • Coordinate with other contractors and company representatives to ensure project success.
  • Prepare, review and manage submittals to vendors, clients, and engineers.
  • Utilize BIM coordination tools to manage project delivery and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and electrical specifications.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate training and safety meetings, ensuring adherence to company and industry safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry, with a focus on supervision or project management.
  • Proven experience with submittals, BIM coordination, blueprint reading, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading projects to completion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and electrical specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of BIM coordination tools and other project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of industry safety standards and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Electrical license or certification is a plus.
