We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Electrical Foreman to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who is passionate about leading teams, managing projects, and ensuring the highest standards of electrical safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, and managing the team to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of electricians to ensure timely and quality completion of all electrical installations and repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all electrical work complies with the relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform repairs, and maintain electrical systems to prevent potential hazards.
  • Manage all aspects of electrical projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and final quality control.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Utilize strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Implement and enforce electrical safety measures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Electrician experience and 2+ years in an electrical foreman role in the construction industry.
  • Certified Master or Journeyman Electrician, or passed Apprenticeship
  • Proven experience in electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Strong team leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to quality control and adherence to safety standards.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical systems or a related field would be advantageous.

Travel: 60-75%

Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
