Serve as a Prefabrication Foreman at our North Carolina facility, overseeing labor, materials, and production for electrical prefabrication. Provide technical guidance in building, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical assemblies, wiring, and related equipment. Responsibilities:
Qualifications
- Lead and direct the prefabrication team to meet high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and organizational practices for the prefabrication department.
- Plan and manage staffing to maintain production schedules.
- Oversee material deliveries and releases for the prefabrication shop.
- Coordinate and manage shipments of prefabricated components to job sites.
- Maintain and audit prefabrication tool inventory.
- Identify opportunities for prefabrication improvements and efficiencies.
- Provide timely, accurate information to job site teams regarding fabrication requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend advanced manufacturing tools and process improvements.
- Track tasks and budgets to ensure prefabrication costs align with project estimates.
- Implement process modifications based on feedback from job sites to optimize fabrication efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years as an Electrical Foreman, Superintendent, or similar leadership role in industrial/commercial construction.
- Current IBEW Journeyman license.
- Leadership experience in unionized environments preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical plans and NFPA codes.
- Experience with electrical prefabrication operations a plus.
- Proven success leading teams, managing projects, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Skilled in material ordering, cost tracking, and as-built documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety training a plus.
