Primary Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Serve as the main customer liaison, lead handovers, kickoff meetings, and maintain project plans.
- Set milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria per contract requirements.
- Manage project scope, process change orders, and ensure proper approvals.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee third-party vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Keep leadership updated on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct site visits as needed.
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of electrical industrial systems, power electronics, and rotating machines integration.
- Proficiency with industry standards including NEMA, IEC, IEEE, and UL certifications.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and SAP experience preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management methodology expertise.
- 10+ years of total experience, with 5+ years dedicated to project management in the electrical or rotating equipment industries or large capital projects.
- Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline preferred.
- PMP certification is desired.
