Job Details
The Electrical Project Manager would be responsible for managing current industrial and commercial electrical
projects. This individual should be able to maintain and develop professional relationship with clients and general
contractors oversee multiple projects and coordinate with site superintendent or project foremen.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintains an environment which adheres to safety, inclusiveness, career progression, teamwork, and
customer focus.
2. Maintains relationships with existing customers, develops relationships with new customers and
prospects for new business.
3. Takes ownership from the estimator for projects after the handoff meeting.
4. Addresses concerns pertaining to likelihood of project success based upon the estimate.
5. Reviews job documents, plans and specifications.
6. Prepares proposals, change order documents, & correspondence for potential or ongoing projects.
7. Coordinates and oversees projects with site superintendent or project foreman based upon the scope of
the project from the estimator.
8. Monitors project profitability and timelines based upon the scope of the project.
9. Gives routine updates including safety, quality, schedule, and adherence to budget to the stakeholders.
10. Make technical decisions for the project adhering to all regulations and the scope of the project.
11. Makes adjustments to the schedule based upon input from the customer, the general contractor, vendors,
and subcontractors.
12. Acts when the scope of the project changes which could impact safety, quality, delivery, or cost.
13. Facilitates discussions with customers and suppliers to keep the project in scope.
14. Attends job meetings and serves as company representative to general contractor, other contractors,
design professionals, & client.
15. Gathers material quotes, submittals, shop drawings and other job-related documents for approval.
16. Maintains and enforces safety requirements on project sites.
17. Applies for required permits.
18. Maintains submittal and change order logs.
19. Accountable to be proficient in using Vista and Accubid.
20. Facilitates the debrief process at the end of the project, communicate the results and archive the data in
the appropriate folder.

Requirements:
- Electrical Industrial experience
- Data and controls knowledge/experience and/or commercial experience
- Ability to work with customers
- Able to complete projects on time and under budget
- Understanding of VIsta and/or Accubid
