Job Details
The Electrical Special Projects Technician is responsible for supporting the construction team by installing, maintaining, and servicing electrical infrastructure tailored to customer requirements. This role emphasizes quality, safety, and client-focused execution in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial electrical installations, service, and maintenance.
- Coordinate directly with customers and internal departments to ensure seamless installation and service delivery.
- Communicate daily with upper management to report progress, escalate issues, and align on project schedules.
- Interface with clients to resolve support ticket requests and provide timely updates.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all assigned work areas and job sites.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with internal standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communication during all customer service interactions.
- Exhibit initiative by assisting in other departmental tasks beyond assigned duties, demonstrating a proactive learning mindset.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional work on live electrical systems in accordance with NFPA 70E standards and appropriate PPE use.
Required Skills, Competencies, Software Proficiency, Education, and Certification Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external contractors.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and sound judgment under pressure.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a collaborative team player.
- Skilled in task prioritization, time management, and managing deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- Practical knowledge of electrical systems, especially in commercial and data center environments.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable to changing project needs.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience
- Certification: Licensed Electrical Journeyman in the state of Nevada or willing to get it (we pay for your schooling!).
