Electrical Superintendent

Based in Albuquerque, NM, we are currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Permanent Electrical Superintendent to join our team in the energy industry. This role will be responsible for overseeing all electrical operations, ensuring adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC), and managing electrical teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in solar PV and switchgear operations. Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate all electrical operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
3. Manage electrical teams, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
4. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems and switchgear operations.
5. Coordinate with other departments and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
6. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
7. Develop and implement safety and maintenance protocols for electrical operations.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the energy industry.
9. Provide regular reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions to upper management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervision of Electricians on jobsites.
• Provides coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures (complying with NEC).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in a supervisory role in the energy industry, particularly with solar PV and switchgear operations.
• Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proven experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple Electrical, Solar (Commercial + Industrial) projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Certification in electrical safety and other relevant areas will be an added advantage.
