Responsibilities

As a Construction Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all aspects of the electrical construction process, from planning to implementation.
2. Ensuring all electrical work is completed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
3. Coordinating and supervising the activities of the electrical team, including training and mentoring staff.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to assess the quality of work and identify potential issues.
5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop project plans and schedules.
6. Managing project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting future costs.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA 30.
8. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
9. Maintaining detailed records of all construction activities, including progress reports and safety incidents.
10. Communicating regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Electrical Superintendent position, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing electrical projects in data centers, mission critical, hospitals, and airport projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and safety regulations.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, team members, and other construction professionals.
7. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
8. Certification in OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
9. The ability to manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
