Are you an electrical whizz with a passion for space and technology? We're looking for an experienced Consulting Electrical Technician - Satellites to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, able to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and design innovative solutions. You'll be working on cutting-edge satellite technology, playing a key role in enabling global communications, weather monitoring, and space exploration. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a real-world impact, and to further develop your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and repair of satellite systems.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to electrical issues.
  • Work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to design and implement electrical systems for satellites.
  • Provide expert consultation on RF technology, network configuration, and electrical testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in satellite technology and electrical engineering.
  • Ensure all electrical systems meet the necessary safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful launch and operation of satellites.
  • Create comprehensive reports on system performance, issues, and solutions.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical testing, RF technology, and network configuration.
  • Experience working with satellite technology is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in using electrical diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Ability to create detailed reports and provide expert consultation.
  • Must be willing to continually update skills and knowledge to keep up with rapid advancements in technology.
