We are a leading manufacturing company that is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Permanent Electrical Technician. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure all installations and repairs are in compliance with national electrical codes and company safety policies.
  • Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex electrical problems.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance electrical performance and reduce maintenance costs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in electrical systems troubleshooting, circuit analysis, electrical installations, electrical safety, blueprint reading, and electrical repairs.
  • A strong understanding of national electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
