We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Permanent Electrician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing/Industrial sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our electrical systems. The successful candidate will be a key player in our team, working on a variety of projects and tasks to ensure our facilities are running at optimal efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance on PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other industrial control systems.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Manage and maintain food safety standards in all tasks, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
  • Ensure all installations and repairs are in accordance with state and local codes.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and encourage colleagues to do the same.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Electrician certification from the State of Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Manufacturing/Industrial sector.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of PLC, HMI, and VFD systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and GMP guidelines.
  • Proficient in electrical repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work on feet for extended periods.
