We are seeking a professional with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, who can maintain, repair and install electrical equipment, systems, and components. This role offers a dynamic and challenging work environment where you will be exposed to a variety of electrical systems, including Journey, Electrical, Maintenance, Technician, Preventive, Predictive, Distribution, MCCs, Motor Control Centers, VFDs, Variable Frequency Drives, Conveying, Hydraulic, Tempo, Sonic, Linear, PLCs, and Programmable Logic Controllers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures following standard practices of the electrical trade.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical devices.
- Work with complex systems such as MCCs, VFDs, and PLCs.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, tempo, sonic, and linear systems.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams related to the equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations when operating equipment or when in the plant or job site.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and solve technical issues.
- Continually improve processes, reduce turnaround times, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Electrician in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with Journey, Electrical, Maintenance, Technician, Preventive, Predictive, Distribution, MCCs, Motor Control Centers, VFDs, Variable Frequency Drives, Conveying, Hydraulic, Tempo, Sonic, Linear, PLCs, and Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong understanding of electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program, followed by passing a state licensure exam, is required.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
