Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical/Electrical)
We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support daily operations with a focus on mechanical maintenance (70%) and electrical/automation systems (30%). You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Electrical Engineer to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair critical production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support daily operations with a focus on mechanical maintenance (70%) and electrical/automation systems (30%). You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Electrical Engineer to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair critical production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You’ll Do:
Mechanical Maintenance (70%)
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and replace or repair components as needed to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on mill equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation.
- Assist with mechanical installations and equipment upgrades across the plant.
Electrical Maintenance (30%)
- Diagnose and repair issues in industrial electrical systems (including 3-phase, 480V).
- Support the installation and connection of power supply wiring and conduit for new equipment.
- Troubleshoot control panels, motor starters, and components of automation systems.
- Work with PLC/HMI systems (especially Allen Bradley) to identify faults and support automation efficiency.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, terminations, and wiring diagrams.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills (required).
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, and automation controls.
- Experience with PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley preferred) is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active environment with rotating shifts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues when needed.
Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required):
- Experience with welding and fabrication methods.
- Familiarity with automation systems in a mill, foundry, or similar industrial setting.
- Exposure to high-voltage troubleshooting or controls integration.
