Job Details
We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled EP Lab Technician to join our team in the medical industry. As an EP Lab Technician, you'll be responsible for providing assistance to Cardiologists during interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain all equipment in the EP Lab
Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition during procedures
Evaluate patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during procedures
Act as the first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control policies and procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a technician in a Cath Lab or EP Lab setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
ARRT, CV Technician, or CVT Certification preferred
RCIS Certification preferred
Strong knowledge of interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures
Ability to operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience with Structural Heart procedures is a plus
