We’re seeking a highly capable Embedded Developer to help shape the software foundation of next-gen fitness equipment. This is a backend-focused role with broad technical ownership and autonomy, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
What You'll Do
Develop and refine Android OS-based backend applications, including driver integration and low-level system interactions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to define software architecture and implement robust, scalable code.
Engage in board-level bring-up and contribute to OS integration on custom hardware platforms.
Participate in end-to-end development, including design, documentation, testing, validation, and verification—with a keen eye on product safety.
Write clean, testable code, with performance and stability top of mind.
Work closely with hardware and UI/UX teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Stay current with technologies that enhance development efficiency and product quality.
Key Qualifications
1+ years of experience in embedded systems or Android backend development (open to junior developers who can clearly explain their work).
Hands-on experience with driver integration and backend development on Android.
Experience with Yocto/Linux environments is a strong plus.
Knowledge of C/C++, Java, or other relevant languages.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and task tracking tools like Jira.
Solid understanding of software design patterns, system-level debugging, and performance optimization.
Experience with system bring-up on custom hardware is a plus.
UI/UX knowledge is helpful but not required.
Work Setup
Onsite work preferred (hybrid considered case-by-case). We value in-person collaboration and hands-on hardware work.
This is a growth-driven position—be part of a rapidly expanding and innovative team.
