We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Employee Benefits Attorney to join our dynamic Legal team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their knowledge and expertise in the areas of retirement, welfare, executive compensation, and fringe benefit plans. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employee benefits, employee benefit plans, and mergers and acquisitions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex legal issues related to employee benefits and compensation, providing legal guidance to our clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
As an Employee Benefits Attorney, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing legal advice on a variety of employee benefit matters, including retirement and welfare benefits, executive compensation, and non-qualified deferred compensation.
2. Assisting with the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit plans.
3. Advising on the employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including conducting due diligence reviews and negotiating benefits-related provisions of transaction documents.
4. Providing legal advice on stock-based compensation plans and issues.
5. Assisting with the resolution of employee benefits disputes and compliance issues.
6. Keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes that impact employee benefits and compensation, and advising clients and internal teams on these changes.
7. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to provide comprehensive legal advice.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Employee Benefits Attorney.
3. Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and compensation, including retirement and welfare benefits, executive compensation, and non-qualified deferred compensation.
4. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including conducting due diligence reviews and negotiating benefits-related provisions of transaction documents.
5. Experience with stock-based compensation plans and issues.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Admitted to practice law in the state of employment.
10. Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
11. High level of integrity and professional accountability.
12. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
