We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Employee Relations Specialist to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and is passionate about people, their rights, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing employee relations, conducting internal investigations, and implementing conflict resolution strategies.

Responsibilities:

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing and implementing employee relations programs to foster a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.
2. Investigating and resolving employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
3. Conducting exit interviews, analyzing data, and making recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
4. Overseeing conflict resolution procedures to handle employee disputes and guide the process to a fair and equitable resolution.
5. Providing advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws.
6. Conducting internal investigations as needed, including fact-finding, documentation, and recommendations for appropriate action.
7. Training and educating employees on company policies, labor laws, and job duties.
8. Collaborating with the HR team to develop strategic solutions that will attract and retain high-quality employees.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Employee Relations role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated experience in conducting internal investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues.
4. In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry regulations.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
8. Proficiency in HRIS and other related HR software.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
